Calf and Ankle Control
Explore comfortable lower-leg movement.
What you will learn
Explore comfortable lower-leg movement. This TRAINOVIX lesson shows a simple setup, a specific practice action and a way to notice your progress without rushing.
Practice step by step
- Begin in a comfortable position and move only through a pain-free range.
- Stand beside a wall for support.
- Lift your heels gently, lower with control and make small ankle circles while seated.
- Notice whether both ankles move comfortably.
- Repeat slowly if comfortable; never push into pain.
Coaching tips
- Use smaller ranges when stiff.
- Gentle consistent movement is better than stretching forcefully.
How to progress
Start with the simplest version of the activity. Give yourself enough time to learn the movement, ask for feedback when useful, and choose a more challenging variation only when your practice feels comfortable and controlled.
