Finishing Into Corners
Place controlled shots toward a small target.
What you will learn
Place controlled shots toward a small target. This TRAINOVIX lesson shows a simple setup, a specific practice action and a way to notice your progress without rushing.
Practice step by step
- Warm up gently with easy touches in a clear playing space.
- Use a safe goal or marked target without a goalkeeper.
- Approach at a comfortable angle and strike through the middle of the ball toward a chosen corner.
- Review accuracy before increasing power.
- Repeat a few controlled passes or touches, then try a new angle when comfortable.
Coaching tips
- Never practise near people or breakable objects.
- Look up between touches and give teammates enough space.
How to progress
Start with the simplest version of the activity. Give yourself enough time to learn the movement, ask for feedback when useful, and choose a more challenging variation only when your practice feels comfortable and controlled.
