Weak-Foot Ball Control
Grow confidence using the less familiar foot.
What you will learn
Grow confidence using the less familiar foot. This TRAINOVIX lesson shows a simple setup, a specific practice action and a way to notice your progress without rushing.
Practice step by step
- Warm up gently with easy touches in a clear playing space.
- Mark a small safe dribbling area and begin at walking pace.
- Tap the ball with the inside and outside of your less familiar foot.
- Notice when the touch moves too far away and shorten the next one.
- Repeat a few controlled passes or touches, then try a new angle when comfortable.
Coaching tips
- Expect mistakes and focus on control.
- Look up between touches and give teammates enough space.
How to progress
Start with the simplest version of the activity. Give yourself enough time to learn the movement, ask for feedback when useful, and choose a more challenging variation only when your practice feels comfortable and controlled.
