What you will learn

Recognise moments when a team can apply coordinated pressure. This TRAINOVIX lesson shows a simple setup, a specific practice action and a way to notice your progress without rushing.

Practice step by step

  1. Warm up gently with easy touches in a clear playing space.
  2. Use a slow walk-through with three teammates and no tackling.
  3. When a pass travels toward the touchline, move together to reduce the receiver's easy options.
  4. Pause and review whether everyone moved at the same time.
  5. Repeat a few controlled passes or touches, then try a new angle when comfortable.

Coaching tips

How to progress

Start with the simplest version of the activity. Give yourself enough time to learn the movement, ask for feedback when useful, and choose a more challenging variation only when your practice feels comfortable and controlled.
