Serve Target Practice
Guide an easy serve toward a broad target area.
What you will learn
Guide an easy serve toward a broad target area. This TRAINOVIX lesson shows a simple setup, a specific practice action and a way to notice your progress without rushing.
Practice step by step
- Begin with gentle ball movements in a clear, shared practice area.
- Stand at a comfortable serving distance from the net.
- Pick a large safe zone and practise a controlled underhand contact.
- Track where the ball lands and adjust one thing at a time.
- Repeat easy feeds, then try the movement with teammates when ready.
Coaching tips
- Do not aim near other people.
- Call early and keep enough room for everyone to move.
How to progress
Start with the simplest version of the activity. Give yourself enough time to learn the movement, ask for feedback when useful, and choose a more challenging variation only when your practice feels comfortable and controlled.
